The Road Scholars Plan

Meet The Road Scholars (TRS): Sean Genovese and Chris Pasley. Two college students attending California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a mutual interest in adventure and travel and the ultimate collegiate activity: The Road Trip.

Mr. Pasley and I first realized our calling last year when we took a road trip to Las Vegas to see the Star Trek Experience, something I’d had on my to-do list for quite awhile. We had so much fun that we began planning two additional trips, a Yosemite Spring Break camping trip and a Summer 2000 cross-country road trip. Unfortunately the Spring Break trip never happened, due to my departure on a Co-Op (which let me do some traveling of my own, read about it here). This did, however, inspire me even further to pursue what we dubbed the "Year 2000 Road Trip Extravaganza!" (Y2KRTE). And so TRS was born.

The goal is quite simple: see and experience as much of North America as possible in order to enhance our education (and get a real one) and to have a great time while doing it.
