Since the inception of TRS in 2000, I have written about life "on the road". By plane, train, or automobile, I tell the story of trips; but the real story in each one is about the journey, not the destination. On March 15th, 2008, Daddy's Little Speed Bump was born. 21 months later, Speed Bump Number Two arrived. I thought it fitting to create a place, with a Road Scholars theme, to share this new journey.

The Aftermath of Easter

Both of my girls are sick. High fevers, phlegmy coughs, runny noses, and nobody is sleeping. Well, at least not at the same time. With a houseful in town for Easter, the girls have been using the "princess bed" to bunk together in the same room (with Issa in her day bed and Kaitlyn in the princess bed). I finally got them medicated and quiet tonight only to hear talking coming from the room 15 minutes later. I walked in to find Issa passed out in the princess bed next to Kaitlyn, while Kaitlyn was a having a full-blown conversation with her. I guess it's better than talking to yourself.
